Project Peer Act is co-funded by the Erasmus+ Programme of the European Union. Duration of the project will be 30 months, start date was 1.11.2018.
In project are involved 6 project partners from Germany, Spain, Croatia, Hungary and Italy.
The concept of Peer Counseling and Accessible Tourism Training is fully oriented to support the inclusion process and to give equal chances to participate at society for segregated and disadvantaged trainer (starting as learner). Adult trainers with special needs and other adult trainer and tourism experts are working together in an equal and inclusive way.
The results of the trainings will help stakeholder in all kind of tourism affairs to provide a service chain in Tourism for All. Peer-AcTs innovative concept will empower peer-experts and train them to be themselves trainer, consultants and guides for others in tourism. This offers all people with special needs and disabilities to participate in society and leisure activities in inclusive way but offers also new job opportunities and inclusion in labour market.
Peer Counseling Training as well as the 5-training modules in accessible tourism will be supported by Webinars. Video-Tutorials well help all users to take part on the webinars and how to use the recorded seminars as well as how to implement own regional face to face trainings or inclusive adult training centres in accessible tourism.
